Being More Like Christ by Jeremy Brown

1 Corinthians 11:111 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
Ephesians 4:14-15
14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
2 Corinthians 3:18
18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Today is a day of becoming more like Christ and doing the things that he has called us to do in this very hour. I want you just to take a moment and begin to ask God to take everything out of you that’s not of him and ask him to cleanse you and purify you, and make you whole all over again!!
Let today be the day that you become more like Christ by renewing your mind, by renewing you heart because in the word of God he says that he will create in you a clean heart and put the right spirit within you. Today is a day of CHANGE!!
Do not become like some of the church people today with no conviction and I’m saddens to say that they are on their way to hell. The church now is not teaching us about holiness, the church now is not teaching us how to pray, the church now is just sugar coating God’s word and going about it merry business, but in revelation God speaks about coming to judge the church and I am a strong believer that if you’re in sin and if you’re doing all these different types of things and your feeling no conviction? That’s a sad thing!! The spirit of God has really left you and I believe the word of God, which in this season it’s a lot of depart from me you worker of inequity for I never knew you!! This is actually going on right now and if you just living day to day with any guards or any kind of heart felt, bubbling on the inside conviction then something is wrong and it’s time for you to get it right with God, then get it right with yourself!
Let’s become more like our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. It’s time to walk up right with the standard of righteousness and proclaim the word to all the land. We need more strong solider out there to fight the battle. The older generation that knew how to pray, that knew how to get a prayer through, that new how to seek God like crazy, are dying out and we are supposed to keep that legacy going! Becoming more like Christ is the best thing anybody can ever give me, anything anybody can give me, because I WANT JESUS!! I want to see him face to face, so how bout now I make it up in my mind that I’m going to serve the Lord gladly and fully and keep a standard of Holiness built up inside of me because there are sinner’s who are watching me and I don’t want them to depart from God because they see me in the wrong so remember becoming more like Christ is something we all need to do, but at the same time be mindful that people are watching you..
